Standard Return Policy
We want your experience to be a pleasurable one. However, should you need to return any items purchased from GBG please read our return/replacement policies below:
Should you need to make a return on a non-perishable item, please return the item in its original packaging with 14 days of delivery and we will refund your order total minus the shipping and handling costs incurred for transit each way. We highly recommend that you use a transit system that offers tracking on your package. Refunds and credits are processed promptly upon return of the product to our Return/Exchange Department. Due to strict enforcement of credit card processing rules and regulations, credit refunds must be applied to the same card used for processing of the order. If for any reason, the card is no longer valid then a store credit will be issued for the amount of your original order minus the cost of applied discounts and shipping and handling fees each way. If you are returning a product that was originally purchased with a gift certificate or as a gift, you will receive an in-store credit as your refund. Exclusions may apply. Please note that we cannot be responsible for delivery address errors that cause delayed arrival/spoilage or incorrect handling/storage of the product after delivery.
Please note that depending on the reason for your returning an item, you may be responsible for return shipping costs. Shipping is not refundable on items returned due to customer preference/change of mind.
Holiday Return Policy: Orders placed between November 15 and December 31 may be returned until January 31.
Please be aware that if the recipient of the package is not home and the carrier was unable to deliver the package, this does not qualify as missing the delivery.
Perishable Returns
Please note that we are unable to return perishable and fragile items due to the nature of the items shelf life. Flowers, balloons, fresh fruit, food baskets, meat and cheese products and all other food related products are non-refundable.
If a package is returned marked “undeliverable” for any reason we are unable to process a return. This is due to the limited shelf life of the contents of the package.
Return Policy for Free Shipping Items
When products are shipped for free, our shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.
Cancelled Orders
An order cannot be canceled once it has shipped. We strive to ship all orders as quickly as possible. For this reason, all items that have been ordered and entered into the shipping process cannot be canceled by you or our customer service associates and our Standard Return Policy applies.
Substitution Policy
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will occasionally run out of a specific product or gift item due to backorders or transit delivery issues to our facility. While we try our best to not let this happen, we reserve the right to substitute an item of equal or greater value in our product.
A handwritten complimentary gift card may also be included with your order. Just tell us what you would like to say in the order notes section on the checkout page. If you would like to delay the shipment of your order for any reason please let us know the date you would like to receive the order and we plan to get it there on or shortly before that day.
Chocolates and Perishables:
To keep your chocolate from being in transit for more than two days, we require you to choose 2 Day or Next Day shipping. Expedited Shipping: When shipping your package during the warmer months or to warmer climates, 2nd Day shipping may be required (unless Overnight is specified). If the weather is unseasonably warm, Overnight Rates may be required.
